PRECINCT LABS
Precinct Local · Advocacy · by Precinct Labs

Turn your members into letters a county commissioner can't ignore.

Precinct Local routes each supporter's message to the exact local official who represents their address: a personalized, verified letter they review and send. On your domain. With you owning every record.

Built for county and city campaigns, the level the big federal tools skip.
01 · The gap

Your tools can't reach a county commissioner. The ones that can cost a fortune and keep your data.

Local officials decide childcare, housing, health and budgets. But the common advocacy tools were built for Congress, and the platforms that do local work are priced for national campaigns.

Button and petition tools

Cheap, but federal and state only. They don't collect a street address or route to a local official, and you need a separate button for every message.

Full-service agencies

They'll run the geo-targeted campaign for the price of a staff salary every month, with all the data routed through them, not you.

Enterprise platforms

Powerful, but five-figure annual contracts bundle forty features you'll never use, and often require a CRM you don't run.

02 · How it works

Address in. The right official, reached. In three steps.

Step 1

Supporter enters their address

On a page that looks like your campaign: your logo, your colors, your domain. Available in English and Spanish.

Step 2

We route to their real official

The address is geocoded and matched to the official's district boundary, so the message goes to the commissioner who actually represents them, not a generic inbox.

Step 3

They review and send

A personalized letter is pre-filled; the constituent reads, edits and sends it. It arrives from your campaign, with their name and a reply-to that's really them.

03 · Why it works

Personalized constituent letters move officials. The research is clear.

Elected officials change positions when their own constituents reach them, and the kind of message Precinct Local produces is exactly the kind that works.

92%

of legislative staff say an individualized constituent message influences an undecided lawmaker, and personalized beats form letters.

Legislators shown their district's actual opinion voted markedly closer to it; those who weren't had near-zero correlation.

Butler & Nickerson, QJPS (2011)

Those studies measured state legislatures. County and city officials sit even closer to voters and hear from far fewer of them, so a few dozen personalized, verified-constituent letters is an enormous signal relative to their normal inbox.

04 · What's different

The one thing you need, without the forty you don't.

Local geo-routing

County and city districts, by street address. The thing button tools simply can't do.

You own the data

Every supporter record is yours, on your own domain. Nothing routed through a vendor.

Personalized and reviewed

Real letters constituents read and edit before sending, not identical form blasts officials ignore.

Bilingual, English and Spanish

Your whole page in English or Spanish, with the letter sent in English so any office can act on it.

No CRM lock-in

Works on its own. No NationBuilder or enterprise platform required to make the math work.

Real deliverability

Authenticated sending (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) so messages reach the inbox, not the spam folder.

07 · In the field

Already routing real constituents to real commissioners.

A live childcare campaign is using Precinct Local to put parents' stories in front of their county Commissioners Court, each letter delivered to the commissioner who represents that family's precinct, plus the County Judge.
